No Cost or Low Cost Way's To Get Your Home Ready To Sell....
Every house is different based on the condition and the market so it's always a good idea to chat with a REALTOR on what needs to be done to get your home ready. But to get you started below are a few no cost or low cost ways to help get your home market ready so you can make a good first impression!
Exterior | Curb appeal is crucial! Make a good first impression:
Mow the lawn, prune the bushes, mulch/weed the garden and plant flowers.
Give your front porch a face lift by painting the font door, adding a new welcome mat and a few fresh pots of flowers.
Give the the deck/patio, siding or fence a good power washing so your home sparkles
Interior | A little elbow grease and cleaning goes a long way:
Remove clutter and depersonalize the home. Pack away the things you don't need and donate or recycle the things you no longer want. Clean up counters and surfaces around the home.
Deep clean your home. You can do this or hire a service, don't forget about things like dusting ceiling fans, and blinds, and cleaning windows. If you have carpet that isn't getting replaced hire a service to steam clean them.
Paint. Although painting does cost money it really makes your home look fresh and clean and gives a great return on investment. Neutral colors are best, your REALTOR can suggest colors or bring in a designer for a color consultant.
Again, these are just a few things you can do to get your home show ready. If you're not sure where to start or what needs to get done to list your home give me a
call/text/email. I would love to hear from you!
